Rancho Sausage Supper
Serves 6
1 pound pork sausage
1 cup chopped onions
1 green pepper, chopped
2 cups stewed tomatoes
2 cups dairy sour cream
1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
In a large skillet fry sausage until pink color disappears. Drain. Add onions and green pepper; cook slowly for 5 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, sour cream, macaroni, chilli powder, salt and sugar. Cover. Simmer 30 minutes, stirring frequently, until macaroni is done. Serve hot.
Serve with a green salad and hard rolls.
